Blunt Action Produced The New 3D Anamorphic Display at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

In the world of animation, there are moments that define a studio's capabilities and expertise. Today, we are thrilled to share one such moment with you. Over the last several months, our team has been diligently working on a groundbreaking 3D visual display for one of the most widely recognized parks in the world: NASA's - Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The park offers unique displays and exhibits for guests to learn more about the site and the history of space exploration. However, to create an unparalleled experience for visitors, Kennedy Space Center Visit Complex worked with Blunt Action to create a mini-movie about the site’s history and unveiled a 30-foot 3D display at the visitor complex entrance to showcase our work.

Scope of Project

This monumental project was divided into five chapters, each a narrative thread in NASA's journey:

1. Origins of NASA

2. Lunar Missions

3. Resurgence & Building of the International Space Station (ISS)

4. Modern Day Innovations

5. Glimpses into the Future

Working in close consultation with Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, we brought their vision to life on a 3D VFX-supported display that now welcomes visitors at the entrance of the park. Our team engineered an awe-inspiring audiovisual experience, complete with an original score and sound effects. Moreover, we incorporated historic audio clips from President John F. Kennedy's speeches, and other news reports over the decades, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the narrative.

Within each chapter of the mini movie, our animation prowess was on full display. We recreated historic rocket launches, showed exploded views of the same rockets, simulated the breathtaking lunar landscapes, and depicted the bustling activity aboard the ISS with unparalleled precision. Our dedication to detail ensured that every frame seamlessly transitioned into the next, creating a mesmerizing and cohesive narrative that captivated visitors.

Our collaboration with Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and SNA Displays, a leading provider of cutting-edge LED digital display solutions, demonstrates the limitless possibilities of 3D VFX in diverse industries. As we continue to push the boundaries of creativity and technology, we invite businesses from various sectors to explore the potential of 3D visual displays. For instance, imagine a theme park dedicated to science, space, and education, brought to life through immersive 3D storytelling. Whether it's fostering engagement, enhancing brand visibility, or educating audiences, the application of 3D technology is only limited by the creativity of the teams involved!
